Barry has been a professional at Downfield for 18 years now, and became head PGA professional in June 2013. Throughout his time here, he has developed into an easily approachable, confident and knowledgeable golf coach. He endeavours to make sure that his clients enjoy their sessions and leave with a clear idea of what they need to do to get better. Rory has been a member of the team for 4 years and has been a PGA Trainee since October 2021.

He graduated HND Professional golf at SRUC before joining the team.

Rory turned professional with a handicap of +2.

He will continue to play on the PGA circuit and the Tartan Pro Tour.

Rory has a passion for coaching and club fitting and can help you with any aspect of your game.

Tony is the newest member of the pro shop team having started in October 2023. Tony turned professional in 2020 and is keen to continue to play on the PGA circuit.

Tony also loves to coach, he has a passion to teach all level of golfers from beginners to scratch golfers. He is friendly, approachable and knowledgeable
